Any tips to keep the head still?

head will move mostly because of the arm swing motion aways from the ball that's combined with a 'shifting' of the weight laterally left to right (rh) so the hips & upper body move laterally off (sway) to the trail side

instead of thinking of a weight shift laterally left to right - have the weight pressure move downwards into the ground

- real good ways to feel how to do this - is first off to get used to it put ball on a low tee (to take the worry of ground contact out of the equation) say with a 7i

then from address set-up just lighten up the weight on the trail foot/leg by just easing the trail foot a tad up off the ground so the pressure is momentarily on the lead foot - then the trail foot will automatically want to press straight back down into the ground as you simultaneously start the takeaway with the arms & shoulders - combine this with the trail shoulder 'turning' behind you & also 'turning' into the trail hip - that different focus on how the weight pressure moves helps eliminate any lateral sway off of the ball

if you can get the drift of that alternate foot pressure downwards so pressure on lead foot along with a 'lift off' of the trail foot doesn't have to come off of the ground completely - just 'lighten' the trail foot momentarily (as you start the swing doing this helps the 'turn' of the trail hip & trail shoulder instead of moving off of the ball laterally away from target)

- most often the head is moving because of folks concept of a lateral weight shift which is real unhelpful as it just encourages lateral sway as part of the first motion off the ball
