Lucky Bilbao ( & the 5 better teams in Spain) aren't in the premiership. United and City would be 7th and 8th respectively. That is a proper reality check !!

We are United and we do what we want!!

Well we dont get to play in the Champions League latter stages, we dont get to play in the FA Cup, we dont get to play in the Carling Cup but we do get to play in the European equivilent of the Johnsons Paint Trophy.

Are you new on here ? :D oh no sorry just missed the utd fan posts when city were top :D

only kidding ,I only realy worry where Everton finish (& that is a worry believe me) if i was to choose a manchester winner it would be red .. looking at fixtures on SSN this morning Utd defo have the easier next 6 games ..

No game will be easy in the run in mate and as for Everton, they will be fine. What a fantastic manager big Moysey is. Dont know why none of the big clubs havent come calling. Hoping for a good result Tuesday night, great way to celebrate 10 years.

Would you have Moyes replace ferguson, when he retires?

Decent performance on Sunday, Rodney's starting to come into form, 4 goals in his last 2 I think, we were poor against Bilbao but we didn't deserve to lose, their 2nd goal was offside and how the free kick was given that led to them scoring their third I don't know, but it doesn't excuse what was a dreadful performance, I reckon we're out of the Europa league, which I don't think is a bad thing

Agreed maybe a question mark over 2 of their goals but as for not deserving to lose then I disagree as I though they murdered UTD from start to finish and but for De Gea it would have been a cricket score. Maybe as you say a blessing in disguise if they go out which I think they will.

I would be happy to see Moyes at UTD. He has more than proved he is a very talented manager over the years and not just a flash in the pan. Although totally different mental challenge with the big teams with all the expectation. Will never be another fergie,,,,,,EVER. In Fergie we trust>

Watched a re-run earlier of Man Utd the Glory years- really put into perspective how ordinary this current ManU side is, any of the teams of the 1998-2008 era would wipe the floor with the current side.
There is no-one in the side you would go out of your way to watch with maybe Rooney as an exception.

That being said they seem to know how to scrape wins but shouldn't a club like Man U be winning in style?

Personally I hope City win the league just to make SAF realise he needs better players, Europe has been an embarrassment this year.

Fair play, I thought you would have said no. I would have thought that most man u fans would not have touched him with a bargepole, as they want someone with European trophy success and not just league success (which Moyes has neither of,although he has done a good job).

I would have thought that Guardiola, Mourinho (one level) or VanGaal, Hiddink, Rijkaard,Trappatoni etc (one level down) would have been more your style.

Moyes has done a good and sometimes fantastic job, but his default position seems to be defensive (most blues think this, that I know of) and the man U job is about 3-4 levels up. A bit like Hodgson, although thats another argument.

To be honest alot of managers are over rated, just look at Chelsea and the amount of world class managers they have gone through. Mourinho for one has went down in my estimation as I think he has let himself down at Madrid, I just dont like the way he goes about things. I would far rather see a great British manager like Moyes be given the chance instead of some over paid foreigner.
The main problem now though is that big clubs dont give a new manager a chance because of fan pressure United wouldnt be where they are today if Fergie wasnt given some time and patience.

Not too many managers could have done what Moyes has done in the last ten years with so little resources. Candidate for the best manager in the last decade.
