Top Five Favorite Golfers for 2026

Rory, lowry, ludvig, bob and I quite like marco penge, listened to a few podcasts and he just seems like a genuine good guy, some game too looking forward to seeing how he goes in US this year.

Went to one of mine's today.....it was his wake....103 years old.

Bloody legend.....was lucky to call in and see him every two weeks for the last five years of his life......

had all of his faculties to the end. 😢

I’m sure it was someone on here who described Cantlay as the a**hole’s a**hole. Made me laugh a lot; if I get a warning for bad language, it was worth it to repeat that about him.
He can have my top 3 places to himself; then Keegan Bradley can have the fourth one and Dan Brown the fifth.
Hatton could be on both +ve and -ve lists depending on whether his rage is directed against himself (which is funny) or at other people (which is called being a dick).

Interesting to know what’s the issue with Dan Brown ?

Have seen him act like a total jerk on course. I have no issues with a golfer reacting with an expletive or two in the couple of seconds after a bad shot. They’re human and the stakes can be high. When you’ve hit a bad shot (it wasn’t even THAT bad; maybe 5-10 yds short right of a green just off fairway); thrown your club backwards across the fairway (the poor caddy had to run back and fetch it) then walked the 150 yards (so enough time to gather yourself), and are still working through a very audible stream of bad expletives when now only a few feet from the families behind the ropes lining up a chip - well you’re just being an idiot. Then hit a bad chip (probably as was so angry) and the club chucking and tirade continued with his poor caddy trying to tidy up the clubs and making gestures of apology to the crowd. Fool.

Well yeah that’s not a great look at all

That sort of stuff is why not a fan of Garcia

Well, my top five just changed. Hey! I can change my mind. I started this thread. So, Rose just replaced Jason Day. Day is now #6 and Rosie is 4th. I hope todays performance means he's certainly ready for the second major. I will be pulling hard for him at Augusta. He has played well there many times. I so hope he can finally get a green jacket.

Interesting that some choose a least favourite for “throwing a club”.
A thrower may be ok really?
There’s a quote on the board in my club’s changing room.
By Craig Stadler, when asked why he had a new putter.
“Cos the other didn’t float too well “

Always brings a smile!

I enjoy watching golf being played very well.
I will admit that when it comes to the best in the world, I have a small bias for European players and a bigger bias for GB&I players.
Mine are,
