Tom on Tiger

Everything Tom says about Tiger is true and Tiger should change his ways but I think his comments were badly timed and should have been said a long time ago or just before he comes back. It is unfair on tiger that hes back in the headlines for his transgressions

Tom has it spot on. Very wise words.

I think the danger for Tiger is if he tries to show some humility and it comes across as being false or staged in any way. Given his arrogance unless he truly repents the golfing public, and media, will smell a rat. And the media will be looking for ANY opportunity to hammer him.

On the flip side if he genuinely becomes more humble, will he be the same golfer ? I know there are some great golfers past and present who are model professionals on and off the course but that was in their make up. I don't think it's in Tigers.

I think Watson has it spot on, and even if it is nothing to do with anyone of us, I would have thought in the real world he will get a massive amount of stick from golf fans and the media (The media by most accounts really do not like this guy)
However like my wife, I really do not think he knows how to say sorry and actually demonstrate that he means it.
I'm not convinced he is finished, but I am reading more and more articles on why Tiger will not return?

I think Tiger should listen to Tom but I don't agree that he should come out and say sorry to the public, he has nothing to apologies to us for. Maybe its my cynical britishness but I always think those public apologies such as Marion Jones's are so put on and pathetic that they insult our inteligence to much to be worth anything.

I just miss Tigers golf I don't really care about the rest of it
