Today is a good day!

In that case, Oh the times I could have been 10 under gross!:p Only for my bad putting, chipping and teeshots.
I hate to break it to you matey, consistency doesn't even come with single figures!
Keep plugging away though Tiger, I reckon if you stick at it you could be sub 90's this year, enthusiasm really does count for a lot (and a little knack, and common sense and...) and thats what keeps you going when you have had a bad day or two. I love the game and otherwise Id have given up by now such is my hatred of one hole card wreckers.

I know what you mean but I guess what I meant to say was that today for the first time I felt capable of breaking 90. Most important result was how enjoyable today was and how I just shrugged off the bad holes, shots and putts. Hoping I can keep that attitude next week with a card in my hand.

Well done, Tiger.

Just out of curiosity, which clubs did you drop from the bag?

Thanks Redwood. Dropped 3,5,7,9 irons and my 52 vokey. Might as well have dropped the 3 wood as well as I only used it once. Hit more fairways and greens than I have before as a result. Short game was better as well.

Nice one, Tiger. My first time under 100 was a few decades ago but I remember it very clearly. Shot 97 and followed it with 92,91 and 88. Like your recent round I just concentrated on keeping the ball well in play and try not to rack up an 8 or 9. If, as you say, your short game is getting better you should be able to break 90 easily.
