Played there yesterday. Course is in great condition. Greens are pure and the fairways and tee boxes were immaculate.

Ground is a bit bare in some areas of the rough due to the dry weather, but other than that, it's in awesome nick!

Good news, really looking forward to giving Belton Park a try. Seems mad that it is 5 minutes from my house and I have never played there.

Still need to find a date when I we can play the Grantham double of Stoke and Belton.

Come on then, how did you get on?

Terribly. What little golf swing I had seems to have deserted me since playing St. Pierre at the beginning of last month. :(

Sev - :D There's been (alot of) rain of late but there was a spell when it was dry.

It's no drama for Belton Park as they have a mahoosive irrigation pond which they use to keep the "important" bits lush in the dryer weeks/months.

Hope they give you nicer cut pins than we had on Saturday!

The back 9 is one of my favourite 9's in golf. So much variety and some cracking holes. Hope you get good weather.
