hi im getting far too much backspin with my driver and its loosing me distance. my driver is a r9 10.5 stiff shaft.can anyone suggest any reason and any fixes?

too steep of a backswing?
move ball a bit further forward in stance and sleep the bclub back along ground on take away to promote a less steep back swing.
ideally you want to catch your driver on the upswing.hence moving it forward in our stance

I had the same problem but was sorted by a custom fit. Now have a Titleist 910 D3 8.5 with a very stiff shaft. Was also advised to use a harder ball and not the real premium ones that give more spin. I'm now about 45 yards longer than my previous off the shelf driver.
