got a new bag on Monday have used twice and realised the plastic part of the strap picture below squeaks loads when I carry it. Other people have had the problem and it is not included under warranty. anyone here have this problem and how would you suggest I fix it? WD-40, vasaline? (its made of plastic)

Thanks

Hope you get a solution, I tried Google search for squeak away but just got lots of results for pig breeders :-(

excuse me because I am easily confused -

is this squeak a result of friction between two, or more, components? if so you have 3 possible routes (1) lubrication (2) stop them moving (3) adding a barrier layer.

lubrication wise wd40 isn't really a lubricant and vaseline isn't a lot better. The problem being that any serious grease (that will last a whole round) isn't going to mix well with your best golf top.

if it's the webbing moving on the plastic 'boss' I would be tempted to add tape to the plastic rings then refit the webbing.

on the other hand, if it's the webbing creaking under load as you stride along....it should eventually stop.

I went ahead and tried wd-40 and squeak is gone. not in a place where it will ruin you cloths so all good will have to see if it last though.

thanks
