TM Rescue 11 face marks (PICS)

Not a white club issue, it's the face not the white painted crown.

Same things happen with silver faces too, maybe not as noticeable. To be fair, it impacts the ball why would expect it to be pristine after doing that?

Part of the appeal of those clubs is the offset of the black face agaainst the white crown. A few shots from less than perfect lies and it starts looking like Kerry Katonas face after a night on the Lambrini with her drug dealer. If I spent that much on a set of clubs, I wouldn't be impressed at all. The traditional clubs do scuff up but they don't show it as badly and that will do me fine.

The white head is perfect and the paint seems very good altough I have not skyed it yet, also no issues with the white getting dirty and mucky as other people have complained about a quick wipe and its perfect.

The black face and white crown do work well at address as you cant see any of the marks at all. Just checked my driver which has a traditional face and I can safetly say if it had the same face as these TM clubs it would be a real mess.

Anyway I was just checking as I have never owned a TOP of the range club and was unsure if it was normal.

My superfast rescue is the same. As is my 4 wood. It doesn't bother me as it doesn't affect the playability of the club.

Drivers don't mark as badly as you tend to clean the ball before teeing it up.

Hang on how has asking a simple question turned into lets take the piss out of where he has struck the golf ball with his golf club??? I mean really ive been playing for under a year I had a practice 9 yesterday and went round in 44 with two 7's on the card one after toeing the hybrid am I really doing that bad id like to see how good I am when ive been playing as long as some of you guys.

I bet there are so many people who would like to ask questions but are afraid of being humiliated on here by the small amount of c***s who try to impress everybody with smart, sarcastic answers.

Anyway thanks for the helpful replys everybody else

There are loads of smart ass people on here. My 18 degree white head jobby also has a good few marks on the face. Sadly it happens but its a bloody great club.

Looking at the pic I only need to shank it and it will be complete :-) Think im standing to far away alos judging by the strike marks but in all honesty it can really fly when I catch it right but my confidence with it is shot at the moment

No disrespect but I think you left yourself open for a bit of ribbing.

That aside, as was said above, don’t hit the ball this time of year unless you clean it. any grit on the ball will mark the face.

Do you cut or hook the ball, just by looking at the direction of the marks.

The face is not painted, it’s a chemical finish on the surface just to make it look good. My driver has it and slowly but surely it’s coming off so don’t worry about that unless you intend selling it soon.

Never hook it when it goes wrong its either a slice or I top it but I have not really give it enough practice time at the range as I have been working on my irons so maybe trying different options out with the adjustability this club provides is needed, the face seems very open on the standard setting to me. I hit probaby 1 in 5 bad with it at the moment but they can be round wreckers.

Have the same club and its just one of those things. Not having a go(as you have not been playing long) but looking where the strick marks are, it really shows how forgiving the clubs are. Glad it works for you. For some reason I dont seem to get on with mine.
