Fairway wood I'm looking at comes with a £10 voucher off tm balls. I've still got Homers balls to play with (in comps) so no need for premiums, I'm after some to play in friendly knock abouts.

These are at the price point of srixon soft feels and Nike Pd softs which I could use no problem. Anyone used them, and have any feedback?

Surely tm don't make any bad balls and at £7 a doz gotta be worth a go?

At that money - buy 'em
They'll be fine for this time of year - soft greens so spin isn't a premium and if you lose one it's no sweat.
I've used a couple that I've found and they're ok...

Nobody makes 'bad' balls! It's just a case of finding ones that work FOR YOU!

Srixon Soft Feel seem to have 'hardened up' somewhat! I used to hate them for putting, which was one of the 2 or 3 areas (Driver feel and chipping/pitching being the others) where I thought about the ball in use!

At that price, definitely worth a punt imo!

I get the playing with less than premium balls in winter, but I just wouldn't bother with cheapos regardless of time of year, but that's may be just me.
