Titleist cart bag sliding off Powakaddy CT6

I have just purchased a 2023/2024 titleist mid size cart bag, but it appears to be too small for my Powakaddy CT6. The bag keeps slipping off the top handle, despite having positioned the handle as low as possible.
I’m really surprised at this considering the two brands. Anyone else had this issue with a titleist mid size bag on a CT6 ? If so, any suggestions for fixing it?

Titleist bags seem to be a bit shorter than others.
The StaDry is close to falling off my M3 but the Ping DLX isn't.
StaDry also goes in the boot easier....

My mid size has the same notch to steady it on the powakaddy I have.

I'm wondering why there's a problem
Hi Ian, my bag does have the notch but it doesn’t fit into notch on the base of the trolley. I believe the notch at the base of trolley has been made to accept powakaddy bags only. May i ask when you fit the top strap, do you pass it through the bag handle (in an attempt to keep the strap as tight as possible) ? I do this but still isn’t preventing the top handle from slipping.

I’m so glad I’ve found a post regarding this. I bought the same bag and same issue. I then sold the bag a bought a large tour bag, same issue. I’m almost at the point now of selling my CT8 and going to Stewart as the Titleist bags I like doesn’t fit.

Just swapped my Motocaddy M1 for a Powakaddy CT6. Was looking to buy the Titleist Midsize Cart Bag so glad I found this discussion.

What did the people with the Midsize bag do? Was it the 2024/25 version of the CT6 trolley that you have? I’m a bit gutted this bag won’t fit as the Powakaddy bags aren’t my taste👎

I have the same issue. It would seem that the bag is a couple of inches too short for the trolley. I compensate by passing the straps through the carry handle of the bag.

I have seen this a few times with the CT6 and midsize cart bags, so you are not alone. The CT6 top cradle is a bit shallow and some Titleist bags just do not sit deep enough, even when the handle is set low.

A couple of things that usually help are flipping the bag around so the strap channel lines up better with the cradle, and making sure the anti twist strap is pulled really tight rather than just snug. Some people also add a thin rubber mat or grip tape to the top support to stop the bag sliding.

If it still keeps moving, it might be worth checking with Powakaddy support. They are aware of the fit issue with certain bags and sometimes offer a different top bracket or padding solution.

You’d think one of first thing the biggest bag manufacturer would check when designing would be that it fits the biggest selling trolley

Im dreading having to buy a PK bag. They look a bit tacky for me. But it’s choice between convenience or looks, something I didn’t think would be the case when buying the CT6. I watched and read a lot of reviews. Not a single review explained that the top cradle is so high that finding a decent bag to sit on it is difficult. The top cradle on a Motocaddy is adjustable. I always wondered why, now I realise it’s for shorter bags

The ones they brought out this year that are all black with black logo are quite smart

The non-waterproof Titleist Cart 14 bag is 94.2cm tall. That’s 4cm taller than their Midsize Tour bag. That’s a big difference so this could be an option

The MC trolley top cradle has 2
positions (mine does anyway) and I also have a Sun Mountain H2NO ( they make the Stay Dri I believe) and it fits with the cradle in both positions. It is to adjust the lay back of the bag, and also trolley COG.

Thought I’d update everyone in case it helps someone who stumbles across this thread when shopping for an electric trolley.

Emailed PK and received a reply. They don’t offer an alternative cradle. Simply put, they say PK bags are designed for PK trollies. They said you can put other brand bags on their trollies but like I’ve found out, you’ll not get a quality fit.

So I’m either going to buy a PK bag or the 94cm Titleist lightweight cart bag. If I go Titleist, I’ll look to modify the base so it fits securely like I did with my current Titleist bag/Motocaddy M1 setup (converter the base to Easilock - wasn’t easy but is possible).

The new PK trollies come with a grey insert that screws out to be replaced by the Mag-Lok puck. I’m hoping to attack that grey insert to the Titleist base, hopefully ensuring it can’t rotate when in place.
