I'm by no means an excellent player my hc is 16.3 I had a round with my mates vegas and loved them and carded one of my better scores but there way to expensive lol

Classic blades - with classic blade attributes.
Plenty of 'feel' but can certainly tell you when you have missed the sweet spot! I found them a little 'hard' compared to other blades (Miura, Vega and Tourstage) - but shafts (S300s which are not my favourites) could have contributed to that.

I played 690mb's from 2002 -2009. Absolutely my most favourite iron ever.
Only swapped them out cus they were worn out.
I am always on the lookout out for a new set unused... very rarely pop up for sale in that conditions
and when they do its usually in the states and way out of my price range with shipping.

yeh really like the look of the titlist ones i like the 712 mb but just a bit to pricey

To be honest, off a 16 handicap I would steer well clear of blades. You would be much better off looking at something like the Mizuno MP60 which look very much like blades but have a very small cavity to help with mis-hits. Lot more forgiving for you but still look very classy in your bag.
You'll pick up a really nice set for £150 or less on ebay :thup:

how do you find them i seem to hit blades better than my burner 09's

No issues at all.
Apart from the odd thin one I probably hit them better than my previous irons (Taylormade R7's)
