I am sure many of us have now posted a review on the article submitted on the main site offering the chance to win a load of Nike gear. I have certainly just done mine and was wondering who else has. What is your name? And where is your review?- It would be good to read a few of our very own forumers analytical work.

I havent done one as I am too picky and have so much detail I would like to put in that it will take me hours and I may not be satisfied when its done anyway, I may have a bash if the mood takes me but I have to be in the mood for this stuff. What I have read in there looks very good though.

I have just thought I didn't say about mine- I'm not sure it has been approved yet (probably been rejected for being rubbish ;) ) but I have done a review on the Ping G10 irons.

I just read yours on the itsy bitsy H.

I have just copied, pasted and edited the piece I did on getting fitted for the 52's.

Not exactly what they are looking for but I really cant be bothered tonight. I am really tired. I will do a proper review of the irons when I get them.

Not written anything as yet. I'll probably have a bash sometime later. I'm of the same opinion as Tony N at the moment. Tired and ready for my bed, work tomorrow, early as usual! Yawn, night night everyone!

Done one on my Mizuno Bettinardi C05 putter which has been posted.

Was going to do one on the MX560 driver I recently bought with a CF at Clays but as Mizuno have now stopped making this driver with new models coming out next year I can't see much point really.

I did the Snake Eyes 675C maily because I have them and not many other people do, so I hope my review gets them noticed.

In order to boost my chances of a big prize, I am considering reviewing all sorts of useful things.

Ball markers (both traditional and magnetic hat ones)
Pitchmark repairers
Tees (all sorts, what ever I have in my bag)
Pencils (although I use a space pen)
Biodegradable divot spikes
Ball cleaners
Groove cleaners (my little wooden brush)
Towels

These could all be a rivetting read, and would boost my review count.

Seriously, some of the reviews are junk. I bought a xxx, and it is great, everyone should have one, it is the best I have played with. That isn't a review. It is rubbish. 4 lines of text doesn't make a review in my opinion.

Little bit off topic here. But I must ask how do you get on with your MX560? I bought one off ebay last week 9.5deg with a stiff Exsar DS3 shaft, used it for the first time on Sunday and was really pleased with it.

Hi Peter Pumpkin

chuffed to bits with the MX560 had it CF and a red graffoly reg 10.5 shaft was fitted, am hitting it straighter and longer than my old driver which had totally the wrong shaft and loft for me (stiff 9.5).
They are going for as little as £85 now as they are being discontinued, I paid a more than this due to the Graffoloy shaft, can't praise it enough.
Suppose they are replacing it with a new driver with new colours and sales gump but frankly based on my own experience I can't see what more I could ask for from the old model.
I did try the MP600 as well but it was no where near as forgiving as the MX560 and beyond my mr average swing.

How about you?

If I did win the grand prize, I'm not sure what I would do because I have just bought new irons my self, so wouldn't be sure weather to keep them or sell them. Or sell my current irons and keep the nikes. :D

A spare set is always nice. Sometimes a change is as good as a rest, so if you play a bad round, you can relegate the set, and play something else.

Unless you specify standard length, loft, lie, and reg shafts, you aren't going to get much for the resale anyway, and you would want to try them in your spec, wouldn't you?

I doubt if any of us will win anyway, there will probably be 300 odd posts to chose from, minimum, so 1/300 odds. Not good.

I reviewed some stuff in case anyone was thinking of buying it. I had a few negative comments which might sway an opinion.

Off hand, I can't think of another worth while review.

I could review Old Thorns, but I doubt GM would post it.
