Got the PS3 version, which I know isn't much use. And to be honest, although I have only set it up and played 9 holes at Augusta, I am quite impressed. The swing procedure and putting seems to be a lot better and realistic than the last version I got. Plus they have all 4 majors now that you can play in real time.
But of course there seems to be the inevitable cost to get some courses. I think I saw one set of 14 extra courses at something like 30 notes which is a bit of a rip off once you have paid to buy the game in the first place. I am not sure about upgrading clubs yet as I have not got that far in, but I am really hoping you do not have to pay real money to do that.

I bought this yesterday, my first ever purchase of game that's not for my boy.Started playing about 12 in the afternoon, was still playing at 6 
Once you get to grips with all the wee bits and pieces, it's brilliant...and the legends part is terrific.

Will be interested to hear some linger term opinions on this version. I used to buy the latest once every year but they have become easy and repetitive, not sure that I finished a whole season of the last one. I know that the basis mechanics will always be the same but I am going to hold back before I buy this version. Normally it can be bought for £20 in a couple of months.
