No probs coming back from this sort of thing.

I had a load of crap taken out of my left knee after an injury and was playing 5-a-side 2 weeks later.

Bear in mind I am a fat git so my knees take a fair amount of load I mooch around without any real dramas.

Seems a strange time of year to be having it done now that the season is under way. The British and US opens aren't that far away either

Bad timing yes but if the pain was that bad, had to be done.

He did look ok during the masters but there are enough painkillers and injections around to help that side of things.

Mine wasn't essential as medication helped but cortisone injections were horrendous so I chose for the minor-op.

Sure he'll get over it no porblem though, and Tiger being Tiger he will come back stronger and better.

He'll be back and badder than ever.....for a while.
There is a chance though that long term he might need to calm it down a tad. He's got the cash to replace every worn bit no doubt.....if he suffered in the future (prematurely) it would be a sad day.

I think if a doped up Tiger Woods, pumped full of pain killers can finish second at the Masters, failing to control his wedges and putting like a cow then the rest of the Worlds Top 50 will be hoping he's out of action for Sawgrass - this might be their last chance of any silverware this season!
