Who cares? There are bombs going off in Bagdad, soldiers being blown up in Afganistan and the banking system has been in melt down............. and people write about a golfer who seems to have had an affair? Maybe some priorities need to be reset?

Yeah but this is a Golf Monthly forum not soldier monthly forum or bankers monthly forum! TW is the biggest thing in golf so people posting about recent events is going to happen.
It's also close-season for golfing so there's nothing going on with tournaments to dicsuss and most of us have put the clubs away for a few months so can't drone on about our own golfing shortcomings. If this was July we'd all be out golfing!
It's a fun topic, everyone has an opinion on TW, no harm in hearing them is there? If it bores you move on to a different post.

Its TW's mother in law according to the latest BBC reports. Taken in on a 911 call with "stomach pains". Apparently she is a local governor back in her hometown in Sweden so quite a respected local figure which maybe adds a degree of intrigue.
