sincere apologies for the delay in subscribers getting their issues.
Posts above and tweets suggesting the issue is dropping today - hopefully mine is at home too!
The problem was apparently an incorrect date on a spreadsheet at the fulfillment company who dispatch subs issues. they had it down to send on the 17th (should have been 14th) and it can take up to 3 days for copies to land hence the delay.
We aim for subscribers to always get their issues before the mag is on general sale at newsstand and normally this works out as subscribers getting copies on a Monday and the mag being on sale on a Thursday
The remaining dates for 2012 have been rechecked just now and are all correct so hopefully we will not have a repeat
With regards newly taken out subscriptions and when you will receive you first issue it is normally 4-6 weeks after the order has been received and you should have been advised of what will be your first issue when you placed the order - if not do phone or email the subscriptions team and they can advise
Balls are sent separately as they come from a different warehouse
and finally, Beggsy, Hate to be the bearer of bad news but when we do a competition to win a subscription you only win a subscription not a dozen balls too, that's only for those who flash the cash! Sorry!
