Blimey, I've just got back in from a day at the auction and there are 170-odd new posts to greet me.

Not a bad thing at all the way the forum has grown but just so hard to keep up with it now after a day out of the office!

No I agree with you Jon it is taking more and more time to read all the posts, but I don't mind because they are still all very interesting and worth reading. When I was more busy last week I was even missing entire threads due to the speed in which the forum now moves, but it is all good.

I take it you are always 100% concentrating on business when you are in the office then ;). I can see it now: "alright love I'm off to read the forum posts... I ah mean work" :p

Contemplating doing the same. But seeing as internet activity is monitored and I have a colleague that abuses facebook on the other side of the office, and I'm investigating her time wasting at work, I have to be very careful. Double standards an'all.

But there is just so much to keep up with on here. Good though.

I don't have the luxury of checking in at work HM gov would not approve.
I always log in to 100+ on an evening. If i miss a couple of days ther is sometimes 300+ on :D

I log on first thing while all the applications are thinking about starting up and while I have the first intake of office caffeine. Trouble is some mornings are so interesting I can forget to work but then I'm on a lousy project at the moment.

I'm a member on another forum, (not about golf).
on there they have a button on the menu bar for new/today's posts.

i still trawl through the different areas for ones i may have missed from time to time, but it just makes it a bit easier to keep up to date with new posts and replies to older ones.

don't know if GM may be able to get something like that on here??

John_findlay beat me to it, easiest way to keep up with things!

I logged on this morning and again tonight, when I logged on tonight, 10 new threads 150 new post!

i shall do that guys, cheers

at the mo it's not a problem, as a relative newbie at golf and being new to this forum i'm trawling all the old posts anyway.
