Golden rule in our house - if the tissues were in my pocket then that's my fault. If they were in her pockets, then I should've checked all the pockets before putting the washing on so that's my fault. If they were her pockets and she put the washing on - then clearly I should have done the washing so that'll be my fault.Had a heavy cold recently.
Got a bollocking from MrsA after a jeans wash resulted in tissue fragments everywhere.
After making a grovelling apology I have removed all the bits of tissue from 6 pairs of her and my jeans.
Interestingly, the only jeans with significant tissue debris inside the pockets were both hers.
She’s had a rough week so I’ll internalise my gloating.

My son got a phone number of a girl he liked and left it in his jeans which he put in the laundry basket.
I then washed said jeans and I took great delight in watching him desperately try and work out what the numbers were.
My suggestions of it looked like either 999 or 666 were met with several grunts and looks of disdain.
The best bit was he couldn’t decipher the number but met her the following week by coincidence in a club and she told him she wasn’t interested and the number she gave him was actually just made up.
