Xmas bonus is legal requirement here under employment law
Everyone earning under the ceiling gets a 13th month salary in Dec
 
Family game afternoon. Would you believe Pictionary via the TV with each player secretly drawing their image on the screen via their mobile phone after scanning a QR code to register?
Now, I'd think that'd sound sad if you described it to me.
It was a hoot with 3x3 teams!

This is a geeky one 😄. My car has a central compartment, behind the drinks holders, that is designed for your phone and any other bits and bobs. It fits my phone perfectly........... until you plug it into a charging cable. At this point you have to stand it on its head because it becomes too long to fit in.

It's annoyed me since day one but I've just put up with it. These last few weeks I've done quite a bit of driving and I decided to do something about it. I posted on a Mercedes forum, hoping someone else has found a fix. One person suggested a wireless adapter but some complained it was not as good as a wired connection. Yesterday a poster suggested a right angle connection. Didn't know it was a thing 🤷. Ordered one on Amazon, 30cm length, arrived 5 minutes ago and it works 🥳🥳. The phone is connected, for charging and android auto, and now sits flat in the compartment, without wires looking clumsy.

Very satisfying 😊

Little update to this as it has ended, ran in total 176k’s, thanks for the suggestion and ended up raising £425.00 + gift aid, thank you to the forum members who donated, I sent a pm to those I knew off here.

…and an abs fab live Saturday Nights Alright…by Elton and his band. Just brilliant bit of rocking.

Hope everyone had a good New Year’s Eve. Quite a few folk I know went to bed and gave it a miss.
Me and Missis T had a fantastic New Year’s Eve in Tunisia. It really was a fantastic multi cultural night. 7 course meal 😳 £362 all Inc, sat at side of pool in 18-20 degrees. Now reading weather warnings in UK ❄️🫣
Seriously looking at Malta for next new year for £520.
Gotta go as sun beds just gone in the shade and am Moving sunbeds. 😁
