Things That Gladden The Heart

Oh what a morning

After yesterday episode you would expect a lesson to be learned

But nope - parked even closer to the pedestrian crossing and it seems the police were waiting , as she walked down the alley to the school they went across and seized the car 😂

As we walked back she was there screaming at them as they were waiting for a tow truck I suspect , looks like she will need to walk home and then get her car back - I wonder if that may help sink in
Lovely stuff 👌🏾

Very interesting that, with your other post, I presume parking in disabled space means that she does not have a blue badge. My understanding is that a car with a blue badge on display cannot be towed away ( I could be wrong).

You are wrong :) Direct paste from Gov.uk website:

The Blue Badge is not a licence to park anywhere. If you park where it would cause an obstruction or danger to other road users you could be fined or receive a Penalty Charge Notice or have your vehicle removed.

The first part gets abused by a lot of blue badge holders.

I knew about the 'not park anywhere'

Thanks for the other bit about vehicle removal.

Was my dads funeral last week , it was lovely to see so many of his old RAF friends there including many that joined with him as a boy apprentice- I managed to find someone local to play last post and the RAF Trade group we are a member of organised a flag , wreath and guard of honour

It was nice to see some of my old friends from days on the RAF camps going back to when we were in Malta

It is a shame that it takes funerals to reconnect with people

It’s also made me realise what a strong and amazing person my mother is , the Irish at times hide their feelings but she has been a rock.

Women are the stronger sex by a country mile. Never let it be said anything other.
