Things That Gladden The Heart

What element disappointed? I enjoyed it all, the location, the bar area before and after our meal and the food/service. Been twice now, work and with the Wife. But I will go to Gymkhana sometime this year, fancied it for ages.
@backwoodsman @Fade and Die

Just back chaps, very good and well worth the money. We over ordered unfortunately so had loads left over, but I'd go back for the prawns and chicken starters any day.

Your car insurance has reduced by £630 a year?!!!
Do you have a fleet of Lamborghinis? 🤣
I wish!! I’ve got a DS7 Crossback as the big car as I do a lot of miles and it’s comfy, plus a Cooper WRX mini that’s a toy/used as Mrs M daily commute. I’ve hit accept on the quote straight away as it’s such a big price difference 😱

Martin Lewis was saying the other day that car insurance premiums have come down across the board, so even if your current insurer offers you a lower price than last year, you should still check out the competition.

Mine has dropped £50, having looked on money supermarket I could get another £100 off that. But the Defacto rating is poor.
Low insurance is good but , if it comes to making a claim sometimes saving a few quid can cause big headaches. That said £100 difference to some folk is the deal maker. 👍

That’s why I accepted my quote immediately rather than shopping round. Was saving a bucket load and with a reputable company that I can trust should I need them. Win, win situation for me.

67th birthday today (yes thank you…I know…😘) and today I am the proud owner of a replica St Johnstone Home Shirt (1982-1986). Present from our lad - also a Saints supporter as well as Arsenal his main team.

And the thing that gladdens the heart sooo much as that this is the first St Johnstone top I’ve ever owned.

When I were a lad and into my teens at school, they didn’t do replica tops for clubs like St Johnstone…so I had to make do with a thing from Lumleys Sports on Sauchiehall St that looked like an unbadged Everton top…all blue with big flappy white collar - oh how all my Rangers and Celtic supporting schoolmates, with their proper shirts, laughed. And when tops became available and I had a bit of money I wasn’t really into getting one…money was tight and besides…

But now I have one and since me and my lad plan to be going to McDiarmid Park a few times this season…I think I might just find myself wearing it.

COYS 😇👏🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
