Free electricity…

The cost of electricity in Spain varies depending on the time of the day and what day it is. Today, 2pm till 5pm, sees a period of zero charge.

Our typical monthly bill is around €80 = £72, and is slowly coming down as the cost of electricity continues to head towards pre-pandemic prices.

BTW, inflation dropped to 3.3% last month, from 6.8%.

We’re off up London today and this evening its to the West End and Oklahoma. Now that’s a musical that all of us of a certain age are very aware of, and as I’ve watched the film (though maybe not all way through ) and know well a lot of the songs, I’m rather excited with the thought of going to the stage production.

Oh what a beautiful morning, oh what a beautiful day…

ETA…And oh yes…the Coronation…accounts by friends say Central London is looking magnificent in readiness.

I should put this in the Random Irritations as it all sounds divine but my mouth is covered in ulcers and any eating is a challenge...

Not sure yet, if I am then I am hiring a set as I am not sure that I would make it on the flight alive if my wife saw me taking the clubs with me. May stick to snorkling, sunbathing and sampling local rum.
