Things That Gladden The Heart

I like eggs. And I like beans.
But they must never be served together. Dreadful clash of flavours.
nooo...bean juice, egg yolk, little bit of fat ran off the bacon, fried tomato juice....add a dash of Worcestershire and a dollop of HP sauce and mop it all up with a slab of well buttered bread....heaven!!!

Swop the bread for buttered toast, black pudding, sausages, mushrooms, mug of tea and alls well in the world. 😄

Picked up my daughter and grandson this morning at 03.00 to drop them at the airport.
Grandson says to me to tell off mummy for waking him up when he was still tired.
I tried to explain he was going on a plane but he said don’t be silly it’s night time they will still be asleep.
The innocence of youth 😀

I once helped my, then toddler, grandson to reach the trough style urinal by telling him to stand tippy toes whilst I supported his bottom (hoping no-one came in!) . I said "See, now your doing it".
Then it was my turn.
Next thing he was behind me, hands on my bum saying "You doing it Grampy, you doing it!" 😂

Our NHS

Just over 3 weeks ago my dad became ill after a trip to Scotland , he was sent into hospital and after multiple tests and scans we found out 12 days he had stage 4 pancreatic and liver cancer and after a short stay in hospital passed away peacefully last Thursday

The doctors were superb but the real hero’s are the nurses - they were just out of this world in the care and support they provided my dad and my family

Always treasure every minute with your family and never ever underestimate the NHS and its staff

Sorry for you loss Phil. 100% agree re your post. The NHS is a fantastic thing, and my experience was when we needed it, it was there. A world class service.

Nice touch. 👍.
You will be able to really splash out this Xmas on all those little extras.
Can we expect to see a sleigh on the roof and 6 foot Nut crackers on the doorstep 😂
Absolutely not wouldn’t waste my cash on that tat 🤣!

I can however relieve the stress off Mrs M and pay for her next round of IVF in full and make it a little easier on her to bare the physical burden she will go though knowing she has it all covered 🥰
