Things That Gladden The Heart

Don't think you are allowed to bring in pips from overseas here in OZ,
will I see you on a Border Security episode soon ?
Tashy the seed smuggler.

I wonder if he has them secreted in his speedos.

Perhaps he goes for the conventional way of having them passing-through-you as you pass through customs.

Odd thing is when I went to Cape Verde they stopped my hand luggage via the x Ray. It turned out a pressie I had wrapped for Missis Ts birthday was a bag of liquorice. 😁

You aren't here either I believe. There are strict regulations on these things.
And that I didn’t know. But Ave just googled it and I do now.
Odd thing is some of the seeds from the palm trees etc were sold in packets for tourists with the intention of planting when home. But theres nothing on the packets saying there ok or not ok to import. 😳

Buyer beware

They will say it is your responsibility to check local rules and laws.

When you watch these customs programs on the box. Buying the the seeds from a legit source is considerably cheaper than the sort of fines they hand out if customs find them in the your luggage. From the top of my head something like £100 per item.

Looks like my career in sowing seeds is finished. ☹️😉

Proper Manc weather forecast as well. Rain ☔

Was out for a family meal in a local pub last night. It was very busy but we got seated and our orders taken pretty quickly. 25-30 minutes later, the waitress comes over and says “I’m really sorry, there is a bit of an issue in the kitchen. Your food will be out shortly, but we are going to give you a free round of drinks to say sorry.”

She brings the drinks, then 5 minutes later a lad comes over with another round of drinks. He says “ oh, you’ve already got your free drinks” and takes them away. He then comes straight back and says “since we have poured these, you can have these on the house as well.”

Food came out soon after, and was lovely.

Great service all round. Bit of a thick head this morning right enough 😀

Definitely seedless. I remember the day too clearly when I was violated by the NHS ☹️
Ah, the experience of going to pick up a specimen jar and being asked "Do you feel up to it right now" by white coat man, with a very attractive female sat at a desk, as he pointed out the cubicles 😳
I declined.
Then, on the day, being given a gown with a hole that exposed your jewels as the surgeon and, yes, an attractive nurse, asked you to lie back on the table.
He then adjusted a circular mirror ceiling asking if I'd like to watch 😱
Again, I declined.
I was in the pub an hour later to the astonishment of my uninitiated friends, then home to my wife to feign agony and seek admiration for my bravery.
Excuse the pun, I milked it 😂
