God, that might a blessing then - the S&L is an awful hole.
They might eventually start to develop the Woolmead plot with any luck - think they are concentrating on Brightwell first. Again, will be a blessing, as the Woolmead was a dreadful piece of 70's architecture.
Lidl is a funny place - no actual shop layout, just "there's a gap, chuck that in there" :ROFLMAO:
Brightwells is structurally finished and it looks very nice indeed (I suspect some, if not many, will disagree - well tough - it's built). But it's still pretty empty - though I understand that all the apartments are sold. A cinema in it opened much earlier this year and really nice looking Italian last week. A large indoor children's play zone (Pirate ship themed) with cafe opened some weeks ago and looks to be popular. Nando's is due to open soon. And of course there's an estate agent. Unfortunately the Coppa Club has pulled out of the most prominent building - the redeveloped Brightwells House if you know it.

The NHS and my youngest

She is the most lovely child. So chilled. Patient and just gets on with things. Doesn't give you problems (they say the 3rd child is chilled as a reward for dealing with the 2nd!!! So true)

Anyways she is under the hospital for her eyes. In September she has had to wear a patch for 2 months .. as one eye was weak and if she got to 17 and the good eye got hurt she wouldnt be allowed to drive

Well she patched 2 hours a day without a fuss. Took it off herself (she's 4!) and today they said just 2 more week patches for only 30 mins a day now to ween her off as she now has 20/20 vision with the glasses on

So pleased

Now whatever you might think on first hearing about this - I was open-minded - but aw shucks - I do believe I suffered a little unexpected 'eye dampness'...of course that's me being of a certain 'Chitty-Chitty Chim-chim-cheree' age; with a MiL of 94 in receding health, and with both my parents and my sister having gone off flying with the angels...yes I might well 'suffer' such a little moment 🥲

Saw that last week. Am not a fan of Coldplay, but it was great to see DVD in such great shape mentally and physically for a guy aged 99.

That’s why they invented turbo mode 🤣
I think the bike might want a service, it was stuck in turbo 😉

Joking aside it was the most varied ride I have had. Red routes, black routes and am thinking what the hell are you doing on here. Some lovely forest runs, and puddles, humps and fallen trees.
Jumped on the scales last night and I was 12st 5 3/4 lbs.
The guy who I went out with mentioned he went for a five mile walk and was knackered. I told him I do that playing golf and it’s not a problem, but I got off the bike at Sherwood pines for a coffee and me legs were wobbly 😂👍
