I am glad it was bin collection on Tuesday as I have been watching my wheelie bin being blown all over the place. Just a bin to pick up when it calms down rather than a bin and loads of rubbish.

First time ever, applied for refund on Railways for being delayed..

My son's term time pass to go to school is about 81 pieces of silver. Last week on his way back from school, they shut the station due to 'police action'. so no trains and i had drive and go and fetch him, since there was no ETA on reopening. So i decided to apply for a refund. The lovely folks in the refund world have approved my compensation.. A full 0.80p.

For a change i got money from someone!!!

The Slug & Lettuce on Woolmead is closing and W moving into that premises. Farnham's Iceland was right opposite the S&L in the Woolmead before the 1970s Woolmead was knocked down a few years ago. It hasn't reopened elsewhere in town - but we got a town centre Lidi.
God, that might a blessing then - the S&L is an awful hole.
They might eventually start to develop the Woolmead plot with any luck - think they are concentrating on Brightwell first. Again, will be a blessing, as the Woolmead was a dreadful piece of 70's architecture.
Lidl is a funny place - no actual shop layout, just "there's a gap, chuck that in there" :ROFLMAO:

This is about right no? I'm guessing you mean £81 for the ticket per term? Which is 8 weeks? 5 days a week 2 journeys a day about £1 a trip would be about right

When I were a lad, we would have dreamed of having only 8 weeks each term.
Bluddy luxury them kids have nowadays.
Its no wonder the youth of today know nowt.
