First lesson with all the girls in the pool together today due to a time swap.

Seeing eldest do one length (20 m I think) on her back with a float unaided was just great

Considering she learnt next to nothing in 2 years with the other place. She's move so quickly forward with this. Was only her 8th week .

Even the twins are swimming with a noodle away from their teachers.

Very impressed with them all / the instructors

I won a photographer's Armistice Day prize on Facebook, he touched up a picture of my grandfather from 1918. Sadly he didn't do my Fathers from 1945 guarding some Germans he said he had just captured lol.

Getting my hair cut this morning and spotting the nearby petrol station had fuel at 15p a litre cheaper than 20 mins up the road near home - plus I only had 1/4 tank left.

15p though?!

Warranty direct.

When the Corsa was coming up to 3 years old they offered me a years warranty for £200 think it was

With all the build quality issues I've had with it I took it up

Today they authorised £475 claim for a window regulator as after 3 years 4 months the passenger (not even the driver one I use all time) window regulator had failed

I mean poor build quality but I'm very very glad I bought that policy and will be renewing in June to cover until I hand the car firmly back to the lease company January 25 which will be a very happy day indeed lol 😆

In neighbouring town this pm I popped into a record shop (yes…a proper one) thinking it would mostly be used stuff. But he stocks loads new. And not only that most of it is £15 or £10. And in one of his £15 boxes he had In the Court of the Crimson King - 200g heavyweight vinyl. I never got KC back then…it was just too out there. But I’ve been listening to a bit of KC on Spotify…and 50yrs on - I now get it, and so I bought it…fabulous.

I have struggled with the idea of paying £20-£25 or more for vinyl so haven’t bought any…but this guy sells his new vinyl for £15 or £10 unless it’s a current or new release - or one of the absolute recognised ‘will always sell’ classic albums (i.e. the likes of Floyd). I’m definitely going back…and soon.

Plus I am now the very pleased owner of one of the all time iconic album covers…it’s just awesome. So for those not acquainted with it…

Record Corner in Godalming would be my guess, I think it's been there since the dawn of time.
