Scary. Glad you're ok.Two hours in A&E and I was on my way home this evening with a diagnosis of Bell's Palsy much to my and Mrs V's relief.
Could have been worse.
Good ol' NHS.
Off to bed now.

Different issue, but I couldn't make it through the night without Hycosan Extra eye drops, if you aren't sure what to get.Had a good sleep with some tape over my right eye to stop it from gaping open and drying out.
Eye is my main problem. Can not shut it on its own. It is rather red/bloodshot.
If I try to do a big grin or smile, nowt much happens with the right side of the gob.
I could be living with this for a few months.
I've told Mrs V that golf will be excellent therapy and I should get on the course at least 4 times a week, not merely twice.
Off to the chemist soon to get eyedrops and 10 days worth of steroid tablets.
Then there is some footy to watch.
HOWAY WOR LASSES !!!

I met up with my cousin a couple of weeks ago. She has it, was told it usually lasts around 8 weeks, although for her it is now 10. Interestingly enough, when we were chatting I discovered that about 5 other members of my family, all female, had caught it at some point. Possibly some genetic link? Anyway, hopefully it clears up soon for you.Had a good sleep with some tape over my right eye to stop it from gaping open and drying out.

Ah, I have a face-ache kindred spirit.I can imagine what you were fearing so good news it's something that should gradually improve.
I'm off shopping before the footie - my face might scare the children right now (see random irritations post) so tills should be quiet!!
Are you getting the "What does the opponent look like?" comments?Ewww when did I get an old women's neck...almost deleted that photo but it is what it is

This photo looks a bit like me - still doing a double take when I catch sight of myself in a mirror. Scabs under nose even darker today but hey that means they'll drop off soon (hopefully)!

It was all on prescription as well as some ointment to put on just before night-time taping over and sleep.Different issue, but I couldn't make it through the night without Hycosan Extra eye drops, if you aren't sure what to get.
The vegan Salted Caramel are delicious. Been buying them at 3 for £1 as well!
