Things I love

Love being out early on a crisp sunny morning. Seeing only a few sets of footprints in the dew as you make your way up the 1st. Life is good

Oh that's a good one too, don't get to experience that nearly enough. Played at silly o clock last year and as I walked up to a green from an elevated vantage I could see the track of my approach through the dew in the low sunlight. There's something awfully satisfying about that!

- Meeting a complete stranger on 1st tee, and walking off as golf 'mates'
- The variety of people you can meet via a 4-ball (My best was a retired Professor, a Forensic Scientist, a fork lift driver, and me - we had a great day!)
- The first tee shot on holiday
- Walking up the 1st in the morning dew
- Walking down the 18th into a sunset
- Successfully executing a shot on the course which you have practiced at the range for ages
- Reading the driving distances on here :whoo:

Not having to buy the first round and collecting a couple of fivers off my playing partners. Doesn't happen often, hence why its so special!

That split second after impact when you realise it came out of the middle of the club.

I don't really care where it's going, I flushed it.

Making birdie is still a buzz. Tending to make one a round atm, although my last proper round I had 2, always feels great to make one. Not as good as an eagle mind, but they come around a LOT less often.

Birding the same hole at RSG that Bjorn lost the open on :whoo:

Going round 3 over at Cinque Ports :whoo:

Playing abroad. I love it. Going to Spain 3 times this year to play golf, 4 weeks of golf in perfect weather on beautiful courses, I can't wait. Nothing better than the sun beating down, cruising round a beautiful course in a buggy and playing some hopefully good golf. Roll on April 23rd!

I played in fuerteventura on Monday, it was fantastic. Sun was beating and the course was lovely. Had a great day. Can't beat it

As the evening sun starts to lower and showing all the undulations across the 18th hole at Royal Lytham St Anne's, dissecting the fairway with my drive between them bunkers, hitting a mid iron to 25ft then holing the putt for birdie............ Then 3 course dinner in the clubhouse to follow.

Logo'd golf balls :ears:

I just love playing golf. I don't care what the weather is like or where I am (with a few caveats) I just love being on the golf course

A sunny summer Friday afternoon about 2.00pm playing a better ball match play game with 3 best mates. Plenty of banter, a few missed short putts (by them) that might've been given at other times.

A good close game with self and PP winning one-up on the last with either of us holing a monster putt, or better still a chip in.

Listening to their "we shudda, cudda, wuuda, mighta" pathetic bleating over a few drinks in the clubhouse as we pocket the dosh, and then all four of us off for the crowing glory of a belting CURRY.:D
