Aargh, I've bitten..... I'd put it the other way round nowadays, that a smartphone is a computer with the ability to make calls . The technical definition of a computer is an electronic device that manipulates information, or data. It has the ability to store, retrieve, and process data. Smartphones very much are computers, and listed as such on many resources
