Theatre goers

Can anyone tell me, is it worth buying a ticket in the balcony/ gallery?? Will it be miles away from the stage and need binoculars to see anything?
It’s the Theatre Royal Haynarket in London.

Been in a few London theatres but not that one. In general, the top layer isn't very far from the stage but does tend to be very high and can be disconcertingly steep. Maybe something to consider if one of your party doesn't like heights. Just watch out for any seats labelled as "restricted view". The front of the stage might not be visible.
