The Worst Shot you've ever hit ???

Not got one specific but played a match with HTL and shanked, topped and duffed EVERY shot over 50 yards. Somehow we were only one down playing the last and I finally got one away. I only needed a mid iron onto the green as they were in trouble. Cue the biggest shank in the history of golf never to be seen again

Me too, I just plan to hit it in some really bad spots so I don't get too good and end up on Tour. After all, who'd want to earn millions of quid playing golf?

Has to be when I first got my lob wedge and was trying to get to grips with it out on the course - I'd hit a perfect drive on a long par 4, and played my second just short of a small lake in front of a green, with the plan being to play an easy pitch over the lake.

Got to my ball to see it was sitting up pretty nicely on the first cut, whipped out the lob wedge and hit a beautiful pitch, perfect weight etc - just what I was trying to do. The only issue was that the ball was sat so nicely on the turf, all I succeeded in doing was fire the ball about five yards forward and 50 yards into the air. I will never forget the sight of my ball dropping into the water right in front of me, as everyone else rolled around in stitches!
