A lot has been made of the slot on the RBZ fairways and hybrids. But I didn't realise Adams had actually brought it to market first with their F11 range last year. Because they spend significantly less on pushing their product I had no idea that TM had ripped off their concept. Anyone else know this??

I was aware that Adams had this first as it was mentioned in a couple of early previews of the RBZ.

The only difference is that TM are prepared to spaff millions on advertising and player endorsement.

Theres no way TM would have used the same concept,as im sure it would have
been patented.

Realised Adams was something similar but first thought when I read about it were of nike's compression channel may not be exact take off due to patent but got to be where the idea came from.

Haven't similar things been around for years - but never really caught on?

One for the oldies amongst us but didnt Hogan have a speed slot on the side of their persimmon woods?

Pretty sure even back in the very early days of the metal woods there was a version with something similar. Not one of the big names but one of those company's that sort of popped up at the time, were around for a few years and then disappeared. Been trying to trawl the interweb to jog my memory but can't for the life think of the name of them
