The 'SnedEx' Cup

he does indeed James, seen him interviewed a few times and always comes across well.

Nice to see different names win each year. Good for golf in general.

Just wish my course had grandstands on every hole for if/when I slice it right ;)

Great for Sneds but does anyone feel how they work this FedEx scoring nonsense out is a bit weird, McIlroy was miles ahead prior and all scores just about reset going in to the last event just to keep the Tour Championship competitive.

Yup, great pace and rather than fall apart after a tricky few holes early on, sorted himself out and played some great golf. Shame Rose couldn't put a bit more pressure on.

I thought he was going to lose it after finding the water on the 6th and taking double, but fair play to him for coming through.

He does seem like a genuinely nice guy too. I thought Rose would have run him closer than he did, but after a steady start never seemed to get going. Nice to see Donald string a few nice rounds together too.

Westwood had one to forget, but there's another thread going on that so I'll leave it there!

Just read the following interview with Snedeker and he seems a very genuine person.

"I'm not by any means a flashy guy. I drive the same car I've had since I've been on the PGA Tour

- I've had it four-and-a-half and it's got 24,000 miles on it.
Of anybody that I know I do not need $11m. So there are going to be things we can do to really help people. That's the way I look at it - I really think we can make a difference and help a lot people out in Tennessee and the surrounding areas.

I've got a little boy on the way in a month. My life is about to change drastically not because of this money, but because I'm going to have two kids."

im pleased had him at 28/1 after the first round, apparentley he won a bit to

I think he's going to be solid in the Ryder Cup,

Sneds just putts for fun. Solid with the little stick - he only missed one putt inside 8feet all week. Deffo my fave US player at present after hearing some of his grounded interviews at The Open

As for Rory - he pisked up $3m (not bad) and before that last round had hit 11 consecutive rounds in the 60's ( i'd take that form into teh Ryder Cup any day)

Great to see he is going to do some good with it , its a sick ammount of winnings , should be broken up in 5mill to the winner & 5mill to the charitys of his choice ,
any player with enough points to make the tour championship already has enough dosh & doesnt need that much .. also cut the winnings & have free entry by lottery type thingy.

They are making a mockery of world poverty & recessions with this ammount of winnings ,

sorry rant over
