The Russia Report

Thought I answered it plainly. Of course it concerns me that Russia were allowed to do these things but what effect will it have and how will it impact me or make a different to the events in question and my day to day life.

You can not stop it, anyone who relies on social media for their final decision on who or what to vote for shouldn’t be allowed to vote especially if they are influenced by a country without the ability to make a decent pie.

So we've hacked off all of Europe, China, Russia, Trump at times and various Arabic states. It's looking good for standing on our own 2 feet and making a success of going it alone:)
Sounds exactly like we are standing on our own two feet and not turning over on our belly.

We havent hacked off the whole of Europe either, Barnier and his cronies arnt the whole of Europe, well I hope they're not!

Where does one gather the information to make an informed decision? Surely not the papers or news as well?

I think it’ll be hard to find any information without a touch of bias as well as fighting our own bias clouding what we don’t or want to see and believe.

So the question out of the report is - why did the government not investigate the alleged Russian interference in the Brexit Referendum...?

And what of the governments reasons for not publishing the report before the GE? Most of their reasoning as presented to us by Johnson and his colleagues was simply not true.

You need to spend a little time each day looking for good news to get a bit of balance in your life.
Because at the moment, negativity just oozes from every post you make which can't be good for you.
Find something that cheers you up unless you want to be miserable for the rest of your life.

The US and Australia already have lists. Apparently it is not actually illegal to be a spy for another country in the UK. The idea is all agents of a state have to register upon arrival and departure. Spies often work via embassies under dummy titles, supposedly, so a register helps keep track of certain people. Those not registered and found in the country can then be arrested for illegal activities, something that could not happen before. Not so daft when it is explained.

Does that mean Nicola can now arrest members of the 77th Brigade. ;)

If only we had an ex. foreign secretary in charge, who knows all about this stuff,eh...........

Bosun, give the gun-boat a new lick of paint.

As I believe they are UK agents then sadly not yet. In the future, following independence and if she copies the law then maybe so. Of course, if they register when visiting Scotland and get caught snooping then they would be removed rather than arrested, diplomatic protocols kicking in and all that :D

Perhaps if the 77th Brigade had shown as much energy to investigating Russia as in cyberbombing Scotland the world just might be a better place.

BTW...........re Indyref/Russia connection.
Half a para of redacted gobbildy gook in a lengthy report that says it is 'credible open source commentary'
I think it is 'credible open source commentary' that Hearts will be re-instated into the Scots Premiership, will win over £10m compo from SPFL then go on and win the 2020/21 league.
