Being a RAF brat, it’s awesome to hear the stories of fa,ily about the RAF back in the day. Still do miss the lifestyle a little bit...but it’s completely different now

All thanks to the Army and the Royal Engineers

Rejected once again as CGS, time to disband it and save some money. Best pilots in the Navy, best helicopters in the army
They do have a nice coloured uniform though

On a serious note:

Previously unseen footage of Her Majesty, The Queen unveiling the @CWGC’s Runnymede Memorial. This rich colour film of the memorial - which commemorates 20,000 Second World War airmen & women who have no known grave - was recently found in the #CWGCarchive #WW2 #RAF100

Should of gone to a British legion meeting this morning but am struck down wi man flu. Missis T went instead. Anyway ave just rung Bro in law who is Branch chairman to see how the RAF dinner after meeting went. He's not got home yet. They have decided to nip down town to a northern soul night. They have taken along our branch President. He is 82 yrs old and as of 15 minutes ago was loving it. 😁

I've never been in any of HMS Forces, but my work is helping build the aircraft and the Subs. Work quite close to the RAF and that’s as close as I can get to the ‘defence of the realm’ but to do it for a living.... fair play, don’t know how to show my respect to the men and women (in all the armed forces) that put themselves on the line. I, and your country salute you.

My old man was in the RAF for over 20 years. Flew Spitfires, Hurricanes, Mosquitos etc, so just be careful what you lot say about the RAF.
