Did you know that the 10 percent off every thing bank holiday bonanza at b and q and homebase cost them nothing! They knock the discount back onto the supplier, so that they still make the same profit.
On those weekends, we used to make a loss on every item they sold.
We won't supply them anymore, as there's no money in it, and there are massive penalty clauses for late stock, even though they refuse to use the bar codes for stock control, so you have to guess when they are running low.

I was in the City of Lights today and got rather lost on the west side.
The head gardener fired up her new sat nav app on her mobile and the first thing I heard this American female telling me to 'take the next turning right towards Go Van.'
Goodness knows what will happen if we get lost near Crianlarach or Drumandrochit.
