Hopefully playing here on a corporate day in a few weeks time (not confirmed with the boss yet), just wondering if I should be looking forward to a nice course or not?
The Codrington is a very nice course although it can be a bit open and bleak as it is basically built on old farming land. Big american style water hazards are the main defence on a lot of holes. Greens are usually excellent, true and very quick. Playable from all tees and can be stretched out to 7500yds+ (I think) if needed!!
If you get chance, take a couple of wedges and a putter and play the water garden course. Scaled down version of Augusta's par 3, real fun and decent little test for your short game (take some scabby old balls becasue as the name suggests, a few of them may get a bit damp at the bottom of the lakes!!)
The other course pinched a bit of land from the Codrington, it was still being built last time i went so don't know anything about it.
