What wind ,that was just a breeze for here,i played this morning and i'm 10 minute from St Andrews and it was just a normal day, bunch of hackers.

I think i may place a small wager on Ross Fisher or maybe one of the molinary chaps....They impressed me.....Alot of players struggled with conditions in scotland......Welcome to our world of golf gents :D :D

Good shout Kid, if the younger one could putt he would hoover it up great ball stiker, but at St Andrews putting is more key than anything.

Ya Steve....Apparently he's going back to a belly putter though...He swapped 2 weeks ago and is supposed to be better with it....We'll see....Fisher is a great wind player and should feel at home at St Andrews.
If he can carry over the experience from last year then he should be there or thereabouts.....Also i think poulter could surprise us...

I've got Molinari (Francesco) each way at 100/1 with Paddy Power. They're paying 1/4 odds on the top 7 for each way. Hope to hell he practices his putting after today's miserable performance on the baize. I think you can still get him at 80/1 with some bookies.

If it's a bit breezy, how about McDowell for 2 in-a-row? Didn't do anything at Loch Lomond, but he pretty much ruled himself out at the start of the week anyway.

Or a sneakly little each-way bet on Clarke? Been in good form over the last couple of weeks.

Personally I am hoping that Ernie does the business this week.

Not a bad call from Atticus on Gallacher at those odds. 3 top four finishes lately and he's won the Dunhill Links (albeit in 2004). Hoping the wind blows for him. Probably his best chance.

But according to Tiger Woods PGA Tour Golf on the PS3, all the putts at St. Andrews are dead straight, so as long as they have a feel for distance, they should be fine! :D
