Superb - Had you been there before the changes, and if so, what do you think in comparison?

No, it was a first visit. I'm told the changes are extremely good and that there are now no weak holes. I was also told that the course/resort was pretty much dead on its feet if a certain someone hadn't bought it and pumped in millions of pounds.

Gosh, the rough looks extreme. Afraid I wouldn't spent the majority of time looking for my ball after looking at these photos. :lol:

Are you allowed to do that? You're not supposed to in Ireland... but it doesn't stop anyone. I'm aiming for the 8th hole at Narin & Portnoo.

Really liked Irvine BTW

Pretty sure him being a member for 49 years some kind of permission was granted. Cracking day 3 club wind had to carefully aim downwind. Aye U have to be on ure game to play irvine. It can easily turn to a horrible card in two holes. Glad unenjoyed it
