I'm in this boat... My annual ticket is just over £5500 per annum and would cover unlimited travel.... But for work you're looking at 200 return journies.
The new Flexi ticket comes in at just under £5100 per annum and would allow me 96 return journies.
It's not what anyone thought it would be I don't think.

i am just hoping that i dont have to commute back into London for a few years... not missing it. In 10 years, the cost of commuting has more than doubled with not much improvement in service. The morning train is one of the top most crowded trains in the UK, and somedays they will still a smaller train!!
