Good to see the competitor coming out in you Smiffy. If you didn't care you wouldn't be nervous. A good one to slip into the memory banks for the next two footer that means as much. Hey, think how bad Camillo Villegas feels.

Wish I could fat my chips to 16 inches :D

I did not fat it!!!!!
It was for "effect"

;)

Mind you, it was bloody wet.
My chipping is usually my strong point anyway, pretty good around the greens....but I'd played so many "perfect" ones on the previous holes only to see them stop dead on the wet ground that I thought for a moment I'd done it again.
Hence the "f" word, but deep, deep down I had no doubt it was a good 'un
;)

Absolutely. We had a proper good match that everyone clearly enjoyed, tooth and nail all the way to the finishing line, it meant a little something to everyone. Eventually I had a birdie putt on the last (which I missed) after Murph hit a quality bunkershot to about 2 foot guaranteeing the par and Smiffy ended up with a tap-in for the half... I'd have been nervous after the match we played, that's the point of having a good match, losing 6&5 isn't as much fun as grinding it out to the 18th and having a putt to win or to half, even if it is a short one and you're shaking in your pants :)
