The lure of a new shiney. This time it's a putter. But it could be anything...

58% more clutch putts holed and 2.3 feet closer on lag putts of over 35 feet. You can't argue with science.

I'd love a Scotty but my putting stroke is like a drunk divining for water so it'd be difficult to justify the outlay. But, but Scotty Camerons, they just look so pretty.

- Curls, Curls it's me, your conscious self. Hi. You know this time of year when you're not playing golf, you know how you try to satiate your thirst by buying shiney things? You know the way a few months later when you're playing you wished you stuck with what you knew cos it's taking ages to get used to the new shiney thing and you wish you had the consistency/familiarity of the old less-shiney thing and you're POSITIVE you'd have been cut by now if you had. Just checking in. Don't go looking at pictures of putters now. You know it's your putting stroke is the problem. Kind regards, Curls.

Shut up Curls.

Heading through it at the minute, for a similar item. Nothing wrong with stroke or current club...but new shiny....!

D'ya know. I had something similar last week.

Tried an Odyssey V-Line at the local range last Thursday. I couldn't miss with the thing.

So, so tempted it wasn't true.

Persevered with my current Oddy 2CS over the weekend and putted the lights out.

Indian and arrows and all that :D

No question, money better spent on lessons (which I intend to begin the year with following a successful dip of the toe last year).

- Are you looking at how shiney it is? Seriously? Do you know your wife has pairs of shoes more expensive than this and they're not nearly as shiney?! What's wrong with you man, buy the shiney thing. It's Christmas. You've been a good boy all year. Okay that's not true but when was the last time Santa left you something shiney? Exactly, that fat charlatan won't help you now. BUY IT

Thanks for your support through this difficult time #FirstWorldProblems

Hahaha, love it my man! I feel for you. You know there'll always be that seed of doubt unless you buy the thing. Go on, do it, do it, do it

Excellent suggestion sir. I went to one of these and it was a revelation. A few tweaks to set up and mechanics and I was able to use what I had far more efficiently
