Never seen anything remotely resembling such statement…

Priced at £70 per round it’s hardly a top 100 contender.

Yet it’s a nice new course with a good layout and greens.

The top,sand dressing would have been done if there had been any prospect of rain

Sorry, I mean sand capping - a practice of constructing fairways with top layer being sand. Goes a long way to improve the fairways conditions.
