The Inside Of A PingPong Ball

I gather that one of the first action of a new English parliament will be to demand that ping pong retain the traditional name of Wiff Waff.
Also that tables will revert back to traditional mahogany dinning tables with a minimum size of 12'x4'.

Right, it's about time we did our best to keep this thread going, so here is the start of a little ode to the humble ping pong ball;

Feel free to add to the verses.

There once was a ball called ping pong
who was said to be made in hong kong.............?

Though here's a question....If you are examining the inside of a Ping Pong ball, is it really the inside of a Ping Pong ball?

Which is precisely what I was about to ask until I read down and spotted that you'd got there before me - oh simple minds think alike...

You could ask what the colour of the inside of the ping ball ball was before you opened it - as breaking of the vacuum and subsequent chemical reaction of previous inside surface with air may have changed it's colour.

But it doesn't keep me awake at night - well actually nothing does these days.

Yes but if you ping pong ball hits the split across the centre of the table (where the table pulls apart to reveal the extension bit underneath) as a result of an incorrectly played wiff waff is that a let or rub of the grain (sorry :o)

Several years ago a group of scientists and select members of the public conducted a study into the internal colour of various balls from American footballs to ping pong balls.
After 4 years and spending millions in their reserch they discovered that NO ONE CARES!
