The Horn Golf Day

I am giving it some thought as not that far for me and is a chance to get something else signed for the H4H day if nothing else.

Anyone know the course (EaglesGolf Centre) as if it is the one that I can find online then looks like a pretty ordinary 9 hole course and that makes the travelling and £60 entry a bit steep.

I live only a few miles from this course and its where I first learnt to play golf as I had lessons there as a 12 year old. Personally £60 for that is extremely steep unless over 50% of that is for charity and even at £30 thats still a lot more than I would pay for that.

Its a very basic 9 hole course, which is actually based away from the main eagles complex about a 30 sec drive round the corner. It has a par 3 course too and a driving range which is on the main complex. Around this area Eagles is more known for its equipment it has for sale as it had probably more floor space than youre typical Direct Golf etc. Very good staff and shop but the course isnt worth the travel and the attraction would only be to meet Sophie. Her Dad owns the Eagles complex so I would imagine it will do him some good publicity for his course but considering you can probably play 18holes for about £12 there then you are paying the extra £48 for food and I cant imagine it would be worth that.

Pretty much what I thought. Would consider it if it was for a good cause but did not actually see any mention that it was actually for charity at all (could be wrong though)
