Thorbjorn Olesen just pulled an iron left into the crowd... "Fore" was shouted and you could hear the call ricochet down the fairway by marshalls (or the crowd).....
then it bounces down at the green behind people who are totally unawares - waste of time shouting. About 8 people had one hand on the top of their head and the other 100 or so didn't have a clue.... most were looking in the direction the ball was coming from (ouchie!)
Don't know why people on the forum whinge about it so much when CLEARLY it doesn't help.

I stop the course when I shout fore but then I learned to shout as a Sergeant in the army. Maybe they should have a drill sergeant on each tee.
