The first time ever...........................................

...I've parred the first three holes on my course!!

The 1st par 4 S.I.3, 2nd par 5 S.I. 11, and the 3rd par 4 S.I. 1. So with my ever so high handicap that's 11 points for the 3 holes.

It's always thought that the first 3 holes are quite hard to score well on, and can be a card wrecker all too often.

Went on to make 21 points on the front 9 and continued my rich vein of form with 22 points on the back.

So, 43 points and a gross 87 - also first time to break 90 this year. Drove the ball really well, which put me in good positions and yet another first, made 9 pars
Putting was good too.

Just a shame it was a friendly and not a comp!

Suppose I'd better buy one of those hats tomorrow, to go with my new found status.

I think that you have to declare to the Pro/committee/handicap secretary that you are putting a supplementary card in before you play.
