The ball tide has turned for sure.

Tommo21...do you mean that you were given these balls to go out and play with in the pro-am???
By the way,how was the course? And more importantly...how did you do??
Reason for asking about the course is that 3 or 4 of us are thinkiking of going up there for maybe a couple of rounds/days!
Hope you played well!!
(lets see a bit of bite in the footie...sems to be getting tasty!)
Jimbo

Sorry....thats the balls each of us played. The course was super, not too long, but a fair test. The greens were as good as they come with no bumps. Go there, you wont be disappointed. We shot a 67....17th out of 70 pairs....not too bad.

Played in a pro am at Crieff today……Titleist, Bridgestone, TM and Srixon. Who would have given that a couple of years back.
Think it's been turned for quite some time. Srixon seems to be the predominant ball at our club now, yet five years ago evryone seemed to play Titleist.

Two years ago it looked like Callaway would be the only alternative to Titleist. Right now the Srixon Zstar will do me for many years provided they keep making it although I don't mind playing with ProV's if I have one in my bag. Generally try to avoid using Callaway balls now.

This season pro v1 is great though, durable to, no question of having to change twice a round due to strike marks. Vokey wedges used to tear shreds off the balls but they hold up pretty well now.
